5/11 Muffins with Mom event in the gym from 9:45-10:30. Please join your child in the gym to enjoy a muffin snack and special one on one time.

I occasionally have classroom volunteer opportunities to help pull chapters from books, prepare a craft, assist with a lab, or help with Friday fodlers if Mrs. Davis isn't available. If you are interested in helping out please e-mail so I can add you to my list. I will also be in need of some parents to help plan our classroom celebrations.

Important Reminders
Friday Folders - The bulk of our work and notes that need to go home will come home on Fridays. Thank you to Mrs. Davis for volunteering to help with folders.
Please remember to have your child bring a water bottle to school EVERYDAY. Having a water bottle in class cuts down on classroom disruptions and loss of learning time. The water bottles are also used at PE. Please label your child's water bottle with his/her name just in case it is forgotten some where.
Please label your child's lunch box with is/her name. Student's sometimes forget them in the lunchroom or at dismissal and it is difficult to return something that is not labeled, especially with over 700 students!
Please remember to pack a snack for your child everyday. If you would like to donate any snacks just in case a snack is forgotten it would be greatly appreciated. Please also remember any utensils your child will need. We don't have these in the classroom.
If you have not sent in a change of clothes to keep in your child's cubby or placed a set in their backpack please do so. Accidents and spills happen and if we are prepared your child will be less embarrassed

Parent communication is very important to me. I strive to keep open lines of communication with all my families. When calling the classroom please be respectful of our precious learning time and only call before school begins at 8:50, during our lunch time 11:15-11:45, during specials from 10:35-11:10, or after school ends at 3:45.
