Lunchroom Visitor Policy

Lunchroom policy – going out to parents, please also include in your newsletter.

ISLOL students have 30 minutes of the day to enjoy socializing with their classmates.  Adults are invited to join a student for lunch.  In order to maintain a safe environment, we ask that guests adhere to the following:

  • Guests must present a valid DL at the time of entry
  • Guests must be listed on the student emergency card or with a parent/guardian listed on the card in order to have access for lunch
  • Special seating, away from classes, is saved for students dining with an adult guest. Adults may not sit at classrooms dining tables.
  • Additional friends cannot join the adult to eat.
  • Food brought into the lunch room is for the student and  adult guest only.  Sharing food with other classmates is prohibited in the lunchroom.  Some allergies are life threatening and although a student knows their allergy, food labels can be misleading.

We hope you understand that health and safety are our priority.
